Home Learning

Important Update:

Throughout the period of school closure it is vital that your child continues with their learning, therefore, we have prepared some home-learning tasks. It is very important that your child completes these tasks in order for them to continue to make progress.

Some of these tasks are ICT based and will require: phones/tablets/laptops/chromebooks/desktop computers and some are paper based. Additional paper based activities have been provided for those children who do not have access to such devices.

Access to Purple Mash, Doodle, Active Learn and Hwb allow pupils to explore appropriate educational resources and games. The Hwb website (Ks2) allows access to Microsoft Office content and supports online research in a safe forum.

Pupils have also been given a project book to carry out the research on their class tasks.

If you need to contact us for any reason please email and a teacher will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

Foundation Phase Information

Reception, Year 1 and 2 pupils have individual usernames and passwords for Purplemash and are familiar with the site. Year 1 and 2 also have Doodle Maths passwords. Teachers will also stay in touch via our school text message service.

Please read daily with your child, practise letter and number formation and all flash cards including high frequency words.

Key Stage 2 Information

Pupils in years 4-6 have individual usernames and passwords for Google Classroom and are familiar with the site. Teachers will regularly update the site with additional tasks throughout the time of the school closure. Year 3 weekly tasks will primarily come from Purplemash.  In addition, the following table has been stuck in pupil Home Learning books.
