**Hub School Update**
Please could you advise all of your colleagues and parents/carers of any vulnerable children currently attending any of the emergency childcare hubs or children in special schools of a change to the application process solely for pupils who are in these categories, i.e. there is no longer a requirement for parents/carers of these pupils to apply for emergency childcare on a weekly basis.
If a vulnerable child is currently registered and attending an emergency hub or a special school, their place will continue to be allocated for as long as it is required.
However, if a place is no longer required, they must e-mail email@example.com so that hub lists can be kept up to date and staffed accordingly, and any associated transport (if applicable) can be cancelled.
The vulnerable learner/special school application form will remain on the RCT website for any new applications – i.e. for any vulnerable learner or special school child not currently accessing the emergency childcare provision, as new applicants need to go through an initial application and registration process.
Any new applicants who miss the online window for applying can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Attendance lists for vulnerable learners at emergency hubs and attendance lists for special schools will therefore be largely unchanged for each setting going forward from next Monday. The only changes will be the addition of any new applications or the removal of any cancellations. Lists will still be forwarded to you.
Key/essential workers must continue to re-apply weekly so these attendance lists will change, as the requirements/shift patterns etc. of key essential workers change. Again, these lists will be forwarded to you.
