Attendance

In accordance with Government policy we are obliged to report

 Unauthorised Absences and Attendance:

Attendance last year reached 93.8%. Our target for 2019-20 is 94.1%.

 

Attendance and punctuality are recorded twice daily and the school works closely with the Attendance and Wellbeing Officer. Attendance is a very important indicator of a successful school. Therefore you will need to authorise your child’s absence by means of a phone call. Parents of children whose absence falls below 90% will be expected to attend an interview with the AWO and headteacher. Your child may also have an interview with the deputy headteacher.  Excellent attendance will be rewarded by class trips to the swimming pool or indoor play centre (Rumble in the Jungle). At no time are children allowed off school premises unless signed out.
